Wiseman toby jug - Royal Dux circa 1915

Wiseman toby jug produced by Royal Dux of Duchcov, Czechoslovakia, circa 1915. After Jesus was born, Wisemen came to look for Him, probably from an area which is now in either Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, or an area in what's now southern Turkey, northern Syria. The three Wisemen brought gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh for the baby Jesus. The tails of his head covering form the handle of the jug.
