Welsh Lady character jug produced by Schafer & Vater of Rudolstadt, Germany, circa 1925. This lovely young lady was born and raised in Wales and is wearing the traditional dress of the times. The phrase "YCHYDIG O LAETH" is incised around the front of the jug and translates from Welsh as "a little milk."
