Toby on Barrel toby jug produced in Rockingham finish in France circa 1830. This Toby on Barrel jug is straddling a wine barrel that is laying on its side. He is holding a wine bottle in his left hand and cup in his right. The jug has an inscription on the bottom that appears to make this a gift to Alice Cheneau in 1831.
