American Toby Jug Museum 

Toby Filpot majolica character jug produced by Malicorne circa 1930. This ordinary gentleman is offering its owner a puzzle. Around the base of the jug is says "Pour boire dans ce pichet, devinez son secret," which roughly translated means "to pour from this pitcher you must learn its secret." The secret to this puzzle jug is a hole in the handle which when covered permits one to pour from the jug without spilling allover themselves. The sticker on the bottom is from the French retailer of the piece.
