American Toby Jug Museum 

The English majolica extra large size character jug produced in Austria circa 1930. This is an Austrian production of The English character jug. The English is a design produced by Sarregumines of France in the early 1900s. Called The English because the Sarreguemines' model had the inscription "V'la les English" on the back, translated as "Here Comes the English." Other sizes are known including a large size model number 7892 II standing 7" tall, a medium size model number 7892 I standing 6 1/4" tall, and a small size model number 7892 standing 5 1/4" tall.
