Squat Toby double sided preserves pot produced by Allertons of Longton, England, circa 1930. Finished in its popular gilded flow blue style the Squat Toby is sitting on floor with his left leg on the floor and right leg propped up in front of him. He is holding a glass in his right hand and churchwarden clay pipe in his left. Note the Old Castle backstamp that was a later tradename of Allertons.
