Snufftaker salt glazed stoneware toby jug by Brampton Pottery of Derbyshire, England, circa 1825. The Snufftaker is holding his box of snuff in his left hand and a pinch of snuff in his right, preparing to raise the snuff to his nose. Note the unusual facial expression on this Snufftaker.
