Snake majolica figural pitcher produced by Mafra of Portugal circa 1900. This fierce looking python is protectively coiled up and rising to challenge a nearby threat. This is an intricately designed pitcher consisting of the large snake all coiled up and its tail forming the handle of the pitcher.
