The skull is composed of four types of bone i.e., cranial bones, facial bones, ear ossicles and hyoid bone. The most common symbolic use of the skull is as a representation of death, mortality and the unachievable nature of immortality. A skull is also used in magic rituals. Other bones form the handle of this jug.
