Scotsman character jug modeled by Diana Capener and produced by Audley Porcelain of Stoke-on-Trent, England, circa 1980. A Scotsman, or Scottie or Scot, is a man who is a native or inhabitant of Scotland. He is dressed in traditional clothing of the 19th century. A thistle forms the handle of the jug. This is the largest of three known sizes.
