Sailor toby jug produced in Japan for National Potteries of Cleveland, Ohio, circa 1950 using its Napco Ceramics tradename. A seaman, sailor, mariner, or seafarer is a person who works aboard a watercraft as part of its crew, and may work in any one of a number of different fields that are related to the operation and maintenance of a ship. This sailor has traveled the world and has many tales to tell. He is designed in a style similar to that of Goebel.
