Quaker Man toby jug green - Goebel circa 1940

Quaker Man toby jug produced in a green colorway by W. Goebel Porzellanfabrik of Bavaria, Germany, circa 1940. The Quaker Man is a member of the Religious Society of Friends, a Christian sect founded by George Fox around 1650. Note the Bible tucked under his left arm. This is the largest of four known sizes.
