Punch toby jug small size produced by H. Wain & Sons of Longton, England, circa 1960. From the popular English puppet show Punch is often found hitting other members of his party with his stick. The puppet show generally features Punch interacting with a series of characters in a variety of mishaps. Even his doting wife Judy cannot keep him from mischief. The long tail of Punch's hat forms the handle of the jug. The medium size Punch toby jug stands 6 1/4" tall.
