Punch salt glazed stoneware humidor produced in England in 1881. From the popular English puppet show Punch is often found hitting other members of his party with his stick. This Punch humidor features Punch comfortably seated in a chair which is resting on a stack of books. With his left hand Punch appears to be asking the growing crowd for silence before the next show can start. There is a cornucopia on the floor at Punch's feet. The humidor is hand marked on the back "RT 1881".
