American Toby Jug Museum 

Police Dog majolica toby jug produced by Orchies of Orchies, France, circa 1905. Dressed in the uniform of a city traffic policeman, this Police Dog wears the insignia of his office on his hat and carries a truncheon in his right hand. A pistol forms the handle of the jug. Orchies model numbers are a combination of letters and numbers. The letters are an abbreviation for the name of the jug and the number is the size of the jug. This jug is incised with the designer's name, Foubert, below the Police Dog's right foot.
