Pike character jug produced by Royal Worcester of Worcester, England, circa 1910. A large pike breaches the chilly northern Atlantic water, shooting up from the depths in an attempt to catch a few herring from the bait bail swirling nearby. Note the smaller fish that forms the handle of the pitcher.
