Pig toby jug produced in a white colorway by Ditmar-Urbach of Trnovany, Czechoslovakia, circa 1930. The pig is an omnivorous, domesticated, even-toed, hoofed mammal. The size and weight of pigs largely depends on their breed. Pigs grunt and make snorting sounds. When used as livestock, pigs are farmed primarily for the production of meat. A group of pigs is called a passel, a team, or a sounder. Pigs, especially miniature breeds, are kept as pets. The pig's tail curls up to form the handle of the jug.
