Pig majolica toby jug produced by Vallauris of Vallauris, France, circa 1900. This seated pig is calm and relaxed. He is unconcerned about the string of pork sausages hanging on his back and forming the handle of the jug. Designed by Delphin Massier, this jug was produced in two sizes with this one being the larger.
