Ordinary Toby jug version 2 - Friar Ware circa 1960

Ordinary Toby jug version 2 in chalkware by Friar Ware of Devon, England, circa 1960. This Ordinary Toby jug features a common man of the time wearing 18th century clothing and a tricorn hat. He is sitting on a high-backed chair holding a pitcher of ale in both hands and resting it on his right knee. With his long hair in a pony tail thrown over his left shoulder, this Ordinary Toby is similar to the Devonmoor Ordinary Toby design.
