American Toby Jug Museum 

Ordinary Toby jug designed by Clarice Cliff and produced in a tiny size by Newport Pottery of Burslem, England, circa 1940. The Ordinary Toby is the original toby jug featuring a common man of the time wearing 18th century clothing and a tricorn hat. This Ordinary Toby is seated in a chair holding a full pitcher of ale in his lap with both hands.
