American Toby Jug Museum 

Ordinary Toby version 3 salt glazed stoneware jug produced by Martin Brothers of London, England, in 1903. This is Robert Wallace Martin's interpretation of the original Ordinary Toby from the 1770s. This Toby is dressed in a long jacket, frilled shirt, and hat, and finished in a dark brown salt glaze. Seated in a high-backed chair he is holding his hands in his lap in front of him. The bottom has the typical Martin Brothers incised mark and the date 1903. This is a very rare jug.
