American Toby Jug Museum 

Ordinary Toby 3/4 body jug produced by Shaw & Sons of Tunstall, England, circa 1960 using its Burlington Ware tradename. The Ordinary Toby is the original toby jug featuring a common man of the time wearing 18th century clothing and a tricorn hat. This Ordinary Toby is holding a full pitcher of ale in his right hand and a pipe in his left. A musical movement is housed in the bottom of the jug.
