Ordinary Toby jug large and medium sizes produced by Hall Brothers of Longton, England, circa 1950 using their tradename Radnor Bone China. The Ordinary Toby is the original toby jug featuring a common man of the time wearing 18th century clothing and a tricorn hat. This Ordinary Toby is seated in a chair holding a full pitcher of ale in his left hand and a churchwarden pipe in his right. The medium sized Ordinary Toby stands 5 1/2" tall.
