Ordinary Toby jug made in the Yorkshire region of England circa 1820. Yorkshire tobies have some distinct characteristics that may or may not be present in any specific example. These include a six-sided goblet, white tri-corn hat with scalloped edging, sponged underglaze bright colors around the base, painted dots for eyebrows, and a ship's figurehead handle. This is a rare jug.
