Ordinary Toby jug produced for the Gladstone Pottery Museum of Stoke-on-Trent, England, circa 2000. The Ordinary Toby is the original toby jug featuring a common man of the time wearing 18th century clothing and a tricorn hat. Sitting in his favorite chair at his favorite pub, this Ordinary Toby is holding a pitcher of ale in his left hand and balancing it on his knee with his right hand.
