Ordinary Toby crested ware character jug produced by S. Hancock & Sons of Stoke-on-Trent, England, circa 1920 with its Corona China tradename. This Ordinary Toby character jug is wearing the traditional tricorn hat of the late 1700s. Crested ware are small, porcelain objects in a variety of shapes and forms that bear a heraldic crest to represent the area in which they were sold as souvenirs. This crested ware character jug bears a Bath crest on the side of his head.
