Old Mr. Turveytop liquor container designed by Graham Tongue and Harry Sales and produced by Royal Doulton of Burslem, England, in 1985 limited edition of 2,000 for Pick-Kwik Wines & Spirits. Another of Charles Dickens characters from "Bleak House", Mr. Turveydrop is a fat old gentleman with a false complexion, false teeth, false whiskers and a wig. Turveydrop is the Professor of Deportment at Bleak House and the owner of a dance academy on Newman Street. His son, Prince, gives dancing lessons and supports his father. This is an advertising liquor container commissioned by Pick-Kwik Distillers of Derby, England. A Jim Beam bottle forms the handle of this liquor container.
