American Toby Jug Museum 

Old Man with Basket handle-less 3/4 body toby jug produced by Schafer & Vater of Rudolstadt, Germany, circa 1925. This old man was born and raised in the small village he lives in. Known by all, he has been a farmer, innkeeper, grocer, and many other things in his long life. On his way to his garden, he is carrying a basket on his back to place harvested vegetables in. The basket forms the handle of the jug.
