Napoleon Bonaparte character jug produced in China by One Hundred 80 degrees of St. Paul, Minnesota, circa 2012. Napoleon Bonaparte (1769-1821) was a French military and political leader who rose to prominence at the end of the French Revolution. He was Emperor of France from 1804 to 1814 and again in 1815. He led France in the Napoleonic Wars seizing control of most of Europe before being defeated at the Battle of Waterloo and exiled to the island of Saint Helena. An eagle forms the handle of the jug.
