Mrs. Lucky character jug produced in Taiwan by Hoffman of the United States in 1978. Leprechaun folklore says capturing these small creatures will secure a wee bit of luck in addition to three wishes, or perhaps the location of their pot of gold. Therefore, they have become associated with the "luck of the Irish," which is one of the reasons they remain so popular today. Married to Mr. Lucky, Mrs. Lucky is also very elusive, offering wishes to only a lucky few. A shamrock stem forms the handle of this jug. The Mrs. Lucky character jug is a part of Hoffman's Leprechaun Series.
