Midshipmite Tailor toby jug made in Astbury style circa 1780. In the style of the Ordinary Toby the Midshipmite group of toby jugs are not as well modeled and features a seated soldier ironing on a lap held ironing board. A large pitcher of ale sits on the ground between his feet.
