American Toby Jug Museum 

Matelot majolica extra large size character jug produced in Austria circa 1930. Matelot is a rugged-looking sailor who has seen many months at sea. He is on a brief shore leave for only a few days before setting off on another long voyage down the coast. Other sizes are known including a large size model number 7889 II standing 7 1/4" tall, a medium size model number 7889 I standing 6" tall, and a small size model number 7889 standing 5 1/2" tall.
