Large Hands Toby jug in Prattware finish produced in Staffordshire, England, circa 1880. The Large Hands toby is an Ordinary Toby jug with unusually large hands and arms. He is holding a glass in his left hand and a jug in his right. This jug is the large size wearing a maroon jacket. The Prattware finish is underglaze metallic oxides that have distinctive bright colors of yellows blues and browns typically associated with William Pratt of Fenton.
