Lady teapot produced in Germany for Ebeling and Reuss of Devon, Pennsylvania, circa 1940 using its Erphila tradename. This well dressed lady is a highly ranked serving lady in some noble's mansion. She is offering a cup of tea to the noblewoman of the house. Her head lifts off to fill the teapot and the offered cup is the spout.
