King character jug - Hachiya Brothers circa 1995

King character jug produced by Hachiya Brothers of Japan for A. A. Importing of St. Louis, Missouri, circa 1995. King is the title given to a male monarch in a variety of contexts. In classical European feudalism, the title of king as the ruler of a kingdom is understood to be the highest rank in the feudal order, potentially subject, at least nominally, only to an emperor. A curved sword forms the handle of this jug.
