Jovial Judge character jug produced by Arthur Wood of Stoke-on-Trent, England, circa 1935. Dressed in his traditional English costume, this judge is pledged to upholding the law and delivering fair and reasonable punishment for misdeeds. He greatly enjoys his profession and has become known as the jovial judge.
