Jolly Fellow majolica character jug produced by Fielding & Company for retailer J. A. Campbell & Sons of Belfast, Ireland, circa 1920. This jug depicts a jolly fellow with a big smile. This design is similar to the Jolly Fellow character jug produced by Sarreguemines of France circa 1920. This Jolly Fellow character jug is an advertising piece for Greer's Scotch Whisky. Note the Fielding model number 85 impressed on the base.
