Jolly Fellow character jug - Fielding & Company circa 1910

Jolly Fellow character jug produced by Fielding & Company of Stoke-on-Trent, England, circa 1910 using its Devon Ware tradename. This jug depicts a jolly fellow with a big smile. This design is similar to the Jolly Fellow character jug produced by Sarreguemines of France circa 1900. The Devon Ware mark on the bottom was used by the pottery from roughly 1917 until 1930.
