Johnnie Walker character jug produced in Japan for Somerset Importers of New York, New York, circa 1960. Johnnie Walker is a brand of Scotch whisky produced by Diageo in Scotland. It originated in the Scottish burgh of Kilmarnock in East Ayrshire. The brand was first established by grocer John Walker. Today it is the world's highest selling Scotch whisky, being sold in almost every country. Johnnie Walker's logo has always revolved around the legendary Striding Man, an Edwardian dandy who "keeps walking." This Johnnie Walker character jug is the head of the Striding Man and serving as an advertising jug for Johnnie Walker Red.
