Johnnie Walker salt glazed stoneware bottle designed by Mike Marshall and produced by Royal Doulton of Lambeth, England, circa 1900. John "Johnnie" Walker (1805 - 1857) began selling whisky in his grocery store in Ayrshire, Scotland, in the early 1800s even though he was a teetotaler. After his death, his son and grandson established the whisky as an internationally popular brand enjoyed by millions of people around the world. This iconic image of Johnnie Walker has been used to advertise the whisky for over 150 years. This is an extremely rare bottle, only one example is known.
