Jazz Player teapot - Fitz and Floyd 1993

Jazz Player teapot produced in Sri Lanka by Fitz and Floyd of Medford, Oregon, in 1993 as a part of its Omnibus line. Jazz is a style of music that was invented by African American musicians in the early part of the twentieth century. Jazz music has very strong rhythms and often involves improvisation. A jazz musician is a musician who plays or composes jazz music, often using a variety of instruments. The jazz musician's left arm forms the handle of the teapot while his saxophone forms the spout. The Jazz Player teapot is a pair with the Jazz Singer teapot.
