James Naughtie egg cup produced by Bairstow Manor Pottery of Hanley, England, in 2005. Alexander James Naughtie (1951- ) is a British radio and news presenter for the BBC. Between 1994 and 2015, he was one of the main presenters of Radio 4's the Today program. In his 21-plus years on Today, Naughtie had anchored every BBC Radio UK election results program since 1997 and had worked on every US presidential election since 1988. BBC Radio 4's Today commissioned a set of collectable breakfast egg cups to be sold in support of 2005's Children in Need campaign. Naughtie was one of three personalities featured as an egg cup.
