Hot Head toby jug - Mugeens circa 2000

Hot Head toby jug produced by Mugeens of England circa 2000. Often quick to anger, Hot Head is a leprechaun toby jug squatting on the ground and beside himself with rage. Something or somebody has made him extremely angry such that he can barely keep his hat on his head. A leprechaun is a diminutive supernatural being in Irish folklore, classed by some as a type of solitary fairy. They are usually depicted as little bearded men, wearing a green coat and hat, who partake in mischief. In more recent times, they have been depicted as shoemakers who have a hidden pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
