Many years ago he lost his left hand in a raid, which was replaced by a metal hook, earning him the nickname Hookey. A pirate is a buccaneer of piratical adventurers who raided Spanish colonies and ships along the American coast in the second half of the 17th century. After months at sea, Hookey is relaxing at a pub along the coast.
