Gurgling Fish majolica toby jugs produced by Thomas Forester & Sons of Longton, England, circa 1900. This is called a Gurgling Fish jug because of the gurgling sound that is made when water is poured from the jug. The fish's tail curls up to form the handle of the jug. Forester produced several versions of the Gurgling Fish jug ranging in height from 7 1/2" to 10" tall.
