Gurgling Fish toby jug - Sarreguemines circa 1890

Gurgling Fish figural pitcher produced by Sarreguemines of Lorraine, France, circa 1890, model number unknown. This is called a gurgling fish pitcher because of the sound the pitcher makes when liquid is poured out of it. The mark on the base of the jug is a rare Utzschneider mark dating the piece from before 1900.
