Gurgling Alligator gluggle jug - Wade Ceramics circa 2000

Gurgling Alligator toby jug produced by Wade Ceramics of Burslem, England, circa 2000. This jug is called a Gurgling Alligator jug because of the sound it makes when water is poured out of the jug. The alligator's tail lifts up to form the handle of the jug. Wade Ceramics refers to these jugs as gluggle jugs and has been producing them since the 1950s. These jugs are available at the Wade website in a variety of colors and sizes.
