George Harrison face pot wearing a red jacket produced by Kevin Francis Ceramics of Stoke-on-Trent, England, circa 2002. George Harrison (1943-2001) was an English musician and singer-songwriter who achieved international fame as the lead guitarist of the Beatles. Sometimes called "the quiet Beatle", Harrison embraced Indian culture and helped broaden the scope of popular music through his incorporation of Indian instrumentation and Hindu-aligned spirituality in the Beatles' work. His songs for the Beatles include "Taxman", "Within You Without You", "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", "Here Comes the Sun" and "Something". After leaving the Beatles, Harrison also had a successful solo career. George's face pot quote, "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", is the title of one of his most popular songs.
