Gentleman Farmer majolica toby jug produced by Mafra in Portugal circa 1880. This Gentleman Farmer is dressed in his finest outfit ready for a trip into town. At one time there was probably a cane that his right hand was resting on. The handle of the jug is decorated with vines and leaves.
