Forty Years majolica toby jug produced by Thomas Forester & Sons of Longton, England, circa 1900. Depicting two close friends, one seated cross-legged on top of the other, these two are the best of friends. On the back of the jug it says "We've been together now for forty years." This is a rare jug.
